Breaking Free
Standing there in the pouring rain,
Striking me and cold but feel no pain,
It’s running down my face, but I do not care,
Just standing here in total despair,
Let me out I need to be,
Looking in the mirror, there is nothing to see,
Want to go where there is no pain or tears to cry,
Wanting to feel like the raindrops that come pouring down from the sky,
Nobody knows where they will land or lay to rest,
Every tear cried, every drop of rain is some test,
Every tear cried may wither and die,
It is how you move forward that makes you survive.
